Wet and rainy and gray. By lunch time Bella was nearly stirr crazy, but there was a break in the rain at 1:00pm so Bella, Sophie and I went to Bonitas. Sophie got all four trimmed and Bella made it thru two. I think Craig thought it was ok to power thru, but I didn't want her to get too stressed out. She also met all of Bonita's dogs and Craig's dogs and while she was initially a tiny bit overwhelmed, she very well. Not interested in playing, but she was fine. She was jubuliant about getting back in the van. She whined all the way over but was nearly silent on the way home; worn out I'd guess.
I've worked a long day. Bella is demanding that I now stop and pay attention to her.
Sounds like it was a good experience for Bella.
ReplyDeleteSophie always so good about these things. Sometimes it's easy to take for granted that a dog will stand patiently while their nails are trimmed.
