providing our kitchen with privacy and the wonderful shimmering shade and light with every breeze. Today was gray, a high gray that let the warmth of the sun through. It's raining now, genuinely raining, not just a drop or two on your face and then nothing more.The rhubarb is growing big, the dogwood tree is filling in, and the hawthorne looks about to bloom. Every once in a while I think I hear thunder, but it must just be the wind.
Two weeks has me thinking about the length of a season, thirteen weeks technically. Spring will be over when we get back; in fact it will be the first day of Summer. Next year, I think I would like to be here for all thirteen weeks of Spring.
