Mombasa mo' bettah

The Tamarind Hotel in Mombasa is incredible. I am in an apartment, yes a one bedroom apartment with a kitchuen dining area, living room, bedroom and bath. I tried to get some pictures and will post later. The hotel sits on a hillside overlooking a lake. It feels very tropical and very luxurious, outdoor restaurants, palm trees, ceiling fans... You get the picture. Its hot. Thurday night brought rains and it is terribly humid, there was even thunder early this morning. Dinner last night, our hosts took us to the hotel seafood restaurant and i had a fabulous seafood casserole, though everyone was tired and if it werent for emnem's fabulous conversationskills we may have all fallen asleep

To day we have more meetings, some time for anrelaxing lunch at the hotel and then back to nairobi to get ready for our weekend safari, for which we leave tomorrow.
