Gadgets that serve ads

Is it just me being grouchy? I removed the world clock because I realized that it's serving up an ad along with the clocks of my choice. I know that everyone is in business to make money and understand that's how a business survives, but it seems like I should have some choices in the matter (positioning, type of ads, I don't know what else). Oh grumble, grumble, grumble... get over your complaining self and enjoy the wonder of the internet. Throw the windows open wide and enjoy what you choose and ignore the rest.
