Now that it's nearly over and Bella is laying peacefully on the bed (placed on the floor - Dr's orders!) with us, I would say she's had good day. Her incisions looked much better and the t-shirt is doing a good job of keeping her from licking at them. There were challenges, an awful lot of birthday excitement including visitors, the scary recliner got activated by an unknowing guest, and her kennel came apart with her in it. But that's the past, tomorrow is a new day. We will focus on keeping her calm, fairly still, no jumping, no running, all of the things contrary to a puppy's raison d'etre. We will focus on helping her heal, we will focus on happy, lovey, snuggley, sweet, and calm.
May I be filled with loving kindness;
May I be healthy.
May I be peaceful and at ease;
May I be happy.
this inspired me to put a path with heart on my bedside stack.
ReplyDeleteawww. that makes me happy and sad, close and far, tearing and smiling all at the same time.
