This morning we headed to the hot pools to find them empty but cold. The surf was high coming in over the highest wall. I had my aqua shoes and paddled around a little bit, but too chilly to stay in long. As people started arriving, it was fun to do some people watching, listen to the sound of the surf and the birds.
After the hot pools we hit Pahoa and had some ono fish n chips. Check out Stucs blog for more about that.
When Scrunch finished work we hit the Hilo Starbucks for a little refreshment and then picked up the sailor's car. All documents should now be in order and where they belong, as required by Hawaiian Law! Having YOUR proof of insurance is not sufficient here, you must have proof of insurance for the specific vehcile and a copy of the current registration in the car. Of course the stickers for registration and Safety & Weight should be on the car and current.
Now all we have to do is pay the citations and this Hawaii Five O experience will be wrapped up all nice and tidy. Hopefully we can do that online later this week.
Not sure what else we'll have for dinner tonight, but I know there will be ice cream.
