Summer Challenges -- The First of Many to L

Well, I had this idea for my pal L when I was looking at his facebook album. I thought it might be fun to do some summer challenges. We picked a moderator (Stucmont) just to make sure we didn't get crazy and I have given L his first challenge.

I challenged L to design / draw a family crest. It can be anything, but L is partial to Japanese symbolism, so I have provided a couple of links below to get him started. The crest should represent YOU or your whole family, which ever you want, but you have to explain how it represents you.
