Today has that sweet feeling that comes with three day weekends that don't have built in obligations. Everything that was supposed to be done on Saturday was put off until today. If this were a regular Sunday, I'd be in a state of panic, but since it's a three day weekend, I feel like a get a do-over.
By 9:00am I have one batch of clothes folded, one on the line and another in the wash; the bathrooms cleaned with a lick and a promise; the pups fed, vacuuming done, and the kitchen fairly tidy. A few phone calls now while I am resting and then I can shift into a lower gear when I resume.
Tomorrow I'll awake with the satisfaction of things tidy and can think about a special project.
I can almost smell fresh line dried sheets.
