Relative

In order to find and maintain balance, weight must be accurately assessed. In order for weight to be accurately assessed and measured there must be calibration of the equipment. That's fine and dandy when you're talking about 5 lbs of potatoes or anything in the physical world. How does one go about calibrating for priorities, wants, needs, hopes, or anything non-physical? Each is relative to the other and ever shifting, but is there a process for internally setting calibration; or is that our basic values? And how does time weigh into the equation?

The rhubarb bloom was so lovely, I couldn't throw into the green waste.
