Unexpected Surprise
I went to the co-op for coffee and a few other things and while I was in the checkout line I noticed an onsite massage therapist. Now this is the kind of thing I consider when I have nothing but time on my hands, like at an airport and I don't expect much. My shoulder has been hurting for months and I weighed the idea that while a 15 minute chair massage might feel nice, the wrong person could seriously hurt me. I decided to go ahead. There were times when it really hurt; but something about it felt right. A couple of times I considered stopping or asking for less pressure; but somthing about it felt right. 20 minutes later I left there feeling a little light headed and decided to look around at the booths of some thematically unclear exhibit. The sun felt nice; there were sea chantys being sung; I noticed Midori Farms has starters. I headed home. By the time I got home, my shoulder felt better than it's felt in over a month. The massage therapist doesn't take appointments, but she's at the athletic club M-W-F from 10:30 - 2 doing onsite. I'm going to try to get another massage on Monday or Wednesday.
