Mostly ready

I decided that I should mess around with my little Toshiba, you know just make sure that it's up for the trip.  Alas, it is not.  It crashed three times in a row, so it will stay home.  While I am sad that I will lug around the extra weight of the Dell, the good news is that I have found that it DOES have an SD slot, so I will be able to upload pictures if I get anything on my camera that's worth posting or probably even if it is not.   But now I am wondering whether I should take the iPad or not.  If Sherry and I can Skype, isn't it just extra weight?  What do I do on the iPad that I can't do on my laptop?

I am EXCITED.  I am leaving soon, I am mostly packed and I am ready to go!  I am about to do lots and lots of new things and I go forth filled with joy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning and loving.  May I be filled with loving kindness?  I feel running over with loving kindness!
