Monday morning

Good Morning! It's Monday. I slept well; almost thru the night, with the ipod on for part and the ceiling fan for all. I am much happier with the ceiling fan than the aircon.

When I got back last night, housekeeping had brought the iron and ironing board, had set a glass and bottled water on the night stand and placed a stiffly starched doilley underneath my personal things in the bathroom. This morning I noticed that they had cleaned the bathroom, switch my wet towel for a dry towel, and when putting my flip flops in the closet, neatly lined up my shoes in the bottom of my closet.

This is the sort of invisible service I remember from my first travels in Hong Kong and makes me wonder if there are house elves in the employ of the Park Hyatt. Maybe I can tuck a sock into my bag and find one that would like to follow me home.
