I know they call it "pineapple"...

What they are calling pineapple here is different than any pineapple I remember having in the past. It seems to be small, have more texture and crunch, and while it is juicy, it's not the kind of juicy that pools on your plate. And sweeeeet, wow! What a combo, sweet, crunch, juicy. Too bad I didn't take a picture. I'll have to remember that for tomorrow.

The Pho Bo was very tasty. There is an herb/leaf/veggie that the waiter said roughly translates to something like vietnamese corriander; it had a nice savory flavor, sort of familiar, but I just couldn't place it. I'm convinced there is just a touch of cinnamon in the Pho broth. Well, whatever it is, it is certainly rich and delicious.

Last night I was pretty beat, so I made my apologies and ordered room service. I didn't even get much work done, other than getting a bit organzied. The burger and fries were good and was tickled that the condiments included a tiny jar of vietnamese chili sauce.
