We walked up to the farmer's market, Scrunches first since her return, and a lovely sunny day. There are several new vendors at the market and it's extended half a block down. One of the new vendors makes goat cheese and for the first time, I tasted a goat cheese that I actually love. They were very pleased, as I was their Ninth recruit of the day. And I was pleased that they got my Beatles reference... "number nine, number nine". There was a band playing classic rock tunes, the mellow sort, and everybody was sort of rockin' along in the sunshine. We purchased a ricotta and a chevre, both of goat; a pint of strawberries, a lovely whole wheat bread from Pan di Amore, and came home and had a lovely lunch of fruit and cheese. We also bought a basil plant that we hope to put in a pot.
The pups spent some time on the front porch watching the world go by. Scrunch spent some time in the backyard and I poked around in the front, pulled a few weeds, and watering.
It's been a good day.
