It feels like an ending. It feels good to restock and tidy for G's return to Paradise; departure arrangements made, keys coordinated, notes to be left, preparing for transition and what comes next. It's a good time to be reflective.
This has been a good trip, a chance to connect with friends in ways that aren't possible via internet and telephone, a chance to be warm, and quiet and still; to experience rain, humidity, and trade winds; to soak up greens and blues that stick to you (maybe it's the humidity).
Hana Hou = To Do Again.
Even as we prepare for what's next, I hope we will have such an experience again and to experience "Aloha".
a hui hou! these ground detritus shots are beautiful.
